    We stayed at Marketplace Lodge which was a great location for the Village, and a 10 min walk to the chairlift. It was the best price we could find in Whistler and was surprisingly high quality accommodation. Hot-tub in the building too!

    Utterly inflexible and rude. Booked quiet far in advance and due to a change in circumstances had to cancel with over 100 days notice. Whistler Retreats charged one day + resort fee for the entire stay. Fair enough if that is their policy, but the policy is a poor one and shows greed and lack of compassion. Reccomend booking with another company if you can!

    From the moment you arrive, the staff are rude and uninviting. The room felt as if I was staying in a Motel 6. On my first night there, I slipped on the ice in the village and my key fob must’ve fallen out of my pocket. I called for a replacement and without telling me that there would be a cost involved, I was charged $160 CAD on my account which didn’t even come through until I was already back home. Unreal. Stay far, far away!

    Standard situation for Whistler - property management company that has properties all over town, so check-in etc can be a bit disjointed. But the staff made everything clear at the point of booking and were very helpful at check-in. If you've been to Whistler before you'll know what to expect, and this was by far the best value I've experienced there. Will be using them again for sure

    For starters the downstairs bathroom toilet wasn't cleaned, also the bathroom fan didn't work. There were numerous light bulbs out, one being the master closet. Looking through the guest book in May the people that stayed there noted light bulbs being out as well and 9 months later still same issues. Bedroom pillows were also horrible! Microwave control panel was no longer connected to the microwave just kind of flopping around. The fridge ice/water machine doesn't work. Which we found out that it has been that way for 5 years. Kitchen faucet leaks unless you have it in an exact position.

    As we choose to overlook these problems and enjoy our vacation, the big problem occurred when we GOT IN the hot tub and noticed that it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a really long time. If I can post the pictures I will. Absolutely disgusting water was murky, you could see the grim and hair along the hot tubs wall surround. Just to top it off the refrigerator went out on our the last day, luckily we noticed before our food that we bought went bad.

    Our four day stay was very disappointing this year and will have us looking at other places to stay for next year. A simple sorry isn't good enough for the inconveniences we dealt with.

    Whistler retreats is one of the best organizations in Whistler for price, value and service. The one gentleman below has OBVIOUSLY NOT spent a lot of time in Whistler if he expects not to be charged a late check in fee. $30 is less than any other hotel or property manager will charge. It is also clear he stayed in the most inexpensive units which is which one of the Whistler retreats can cater too. Also parking at most hotels is $20-40 a night so if you are concerned about parking do not worry Whistler retreats is far less plus they manage the greatest number of properties in Whistler so if your worried about parking and noise pay more for a different room and research the hundreds of different units. Front desk is very helpful and friendly at doing this and unless you are a doctor, lawyer, high level accountant, celebrity, executive, lottery winner or just wealthy person you CANNOT BEAT whistler retreats for value, service, and friendliness. Thank you Brian and Tanya for your great stay. Treated unfair should try 4 seasons...

    This is our families 3rd year in a row staying in the Mountain star condos. The two previous stays were great, no complaints. As for mountain star number 15 it was very displeasing and we will be considering other options next year.

    Although management fixed the piddly things replaced lights bulbs, used a framing screw to attach the microwave control panel, cleaned the bathroom, dumped the hot water cleaned and refilled. It did us no good as it wasn't usable for us. Having a private hot tub is one of the reasons we choose to stay in a condo vs hotel.
