Beautiful short hike. Camping is great if you can get a reservation. So close to Pemberton. The hike to Mile One Lake is great too!

A nice short walk to a wonderful waterfall. We went in the winter and the ice around was spectacular. The hike to the falls is scenic enough for the short time you're on it.

Pretty standard BC West Coast provincial campground - well maintained, decent sized sites, nestled amongst the trees for some privacy, in a beautiful location. Only lost a star because this campground is a pit-toilet one... but we knew that going in, so it wasn't an issue for us. The nearby trail is also a good, easy, family-friendly one, with the falls at the end as a reward.

This park is easy to find, right off Hwy 99 just south of Pemberton. There is no beach or swimming at this park. The beach is 2km walk down the hwy or along the river. This park is perched on top of a cliff with the river below. Several campsites border on this cliff with limited, inadequate fencing. I would not camp with children at any of the riverside campsites. This is the only park I have gotten lost in while walking the roads. Several roads dead-end at the middle of the park. The falls are 1.5 km from the campground. The trees are lovely and the campsites are fairly private. Shady and cool on a hot summer day. None of the sites offer power, water, or sewer hookups. There are no flush toilets or showers. Drinking water is from a hand pump.

The car park is closed in winter so only parking for 10 or so parks at the entrance to the parking lot

The falls aren't quite frozen but there's heaps of snow.

Have only been here in winter. Its about 1.5km walk on snow covered track that can be a bit slippery, so would advise doing it in good walking boots.
