Slightly pricier dinner option for Whistler, but we loved the menu - Canadian cuisine and rich in flavour. Good options for vegetarians and gluten free, too. Nice venue for small group / couples.

I really loved the atmosphere! The bartender Brandon got us hooked on the delicious espresso martini. Chef Bobby in the kitchen just killed it with the food. I will make this a regular trip. Make sure u ask for the chicken Mac n cheese cone!!

Found some gift cards at Costco for the Gibbons "brand" of restaurants. Since we were headed up to Whistler, I thought it would be a good buy. After looking at the various options online, we settled on Stonesedge because it seemed to be the one most suited for families. We could only get a reservation for 5:30pm so we rushed back after a day's skiing to get ready for dinner. When we arrived, the restaurant was mostly empty.

On the plus side, the Caesar Salad I ordered with my burger was most excellent. The penko they used as a topping gave it a really nice texture and the dressing was very very tasty.

Service by our waitress was friendly but the food was way overpriced for they quality served. When seated, our waitress asked if we wanted some bread to start...$6...and we haven't even looked at the menu. It would have been nice if she had informed us there was a cost to the bread. My wife ordered an appetizer (they call it a "small plate") of surf and turf. Boy...they weren't kidding when they said "small plate". Two small pieces of pork belly which came very dry and tough and two scallops...$17 for that plate.

Average food but nice vibe inside. We got the sin fries (poutine), fresh bread, hummus, and burger. Apparently there’s a law that burgers have to be well done so it was a bit dry. Really enjoyed the bread with fresh butter though, highly it. Portion for some dishes were pretty small though like they hummus and surf and turf that or friends got.

$175 later ($100 gift card from Costco for $80 so I saved $20)...to feed a family of 5. Nothing outrageous ordered. My niece and I both had a beer with our burgers each and my kids had pop with theirs. My wife ordered a half order of Kale Caesar Salad with her Surf and Turf. I don't mind spending the money if I got a good meal but really...this was glorified pub fare. I would rather have spent $250 at the restaurant named after a device that holds beer.

We enjoyed great food and service. We started with wine and an o.g. salad which was fresh and flavorful. We both ordered the steelhead trout which was an incredible combination of flavor including maple glaze, bacon, and kale. Somehow these flavors work together. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend!
