After a long day it was a great place to post up and order some great drinks. A very cozy vibe with people dressed nicely to people dressed in their ski gear. A great place for a family dinner or a romantic date. I will certainly be going back.

(Oh and yes, there are 21 steps leading up to the restaurant.)

The craft cocktail list was also very fun to try. If I'm in Whistler again I would be happy to come back!

Stumbling upon 21 steps on a Sunday evening, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. We had high hopes and left disappointed and hungry. Our starters, the 21 salad was no more than subpar. The buttermilk fried chicken though a small portion was quite good. Everything from there became a huge disappointment. We both ordered the steak, mine rare and his well done. The tarragon garlic butter that topped off the steaks were nowhere near melting; a sign the steak had been sitting, and therefore cold and chewy. I had the steaks sent back by another server who came back within 2 minutes with steaks that seemed only slightly warmer than the last. I did not catch our server’s name but she was very understanding and comped part of our meal. I wish I had better things to say other than the friendly service. That being said, I can’t see myself returning and believe there are restaurants with better value in the Whistler area.

Service great. Room a bit cold. My demi glace was burnt making for some bitter meat. Reservations at an early time may have ensured some fresher food. Alcohol selection limited. Other places may serve for a better meal for the price.

Great service, very attentive and always there when you needed something. Sat at the bar so perhaps that was especially the case. My partner spilled her drink and they brought a brand new one, no charge.

Mussels with white wine and garlic were fantastic. I needed a straw to drink the broth it was so delicious! We shared the stuffed mushroom and the bison steak. The mushroom was a great dish, perfect for vegetarians. I have only had bison a handful of times...this time it was good and cooked exactly how I ordered it. I didn't find it to be very special unfortunately, it seemed like just another piece of beef. As well the kitchen forgot the dijon mustard that was supposed to go with the dish and the vegetables were undercooked.

Pork belly really tender and juicy very good. Fried chicken is bad totally not worth ordering. The mussels in white wine sauce is great. You may wanna skip the desserts it's too sugar overload and too too sweet.

Very good small plates restaurant in the heart of Whistler Village! I recommend the bacon wrapped beef filet and friend goat cheese as two options!
