  I guess I'm just writing this so people know what they're getting into on some nights. I can't say too much more than my short experience there. The lady at the top signed me up for some special they have the next day, so maybe I'll check it out then.

  My Fish Experience -- Walked around and visited all the clubs/bars around 1030pm, and it all seemed like the same thing everywhere we went, nothing out of the ordinary. We left and on the way back to the hotel ran into some promo people and was offered free cover and drink from Maxx Fish, so we decided, why not?, one last drink then call it a night. First few seconds walked in and realized everyone that was in Whistler for the weekend was in this place lol. From the outside walking in, was not expecting that. Right away went to get our drinks and the bartenders were super friendly and nice, even with crazy line ups they acknowledged us and got our drinks fast. I notice small details and appreciate things like that. The music was unreal, the dj played EVERYTHING! Old school stuff, all new music, different styles and remixes, the dance floor & stages were packed all night, straight up party mode the entire time we were there.

  Everyone was friendly and having a good time, we ended up staying til the end. Thank you Maxx Fish, not enough words to describe how cool the vibe was, we had a blast, will definitely be back soon, Had to take a minute and write you a Kudos!

  Got to the club at 10:30 on a Monday night, thinking this is probably the best place in the area to chill for a bit, do some dancing, drink a few drinks. I talked to the staff at the top for a few minutes and they seemed ok and I was excited to go in. However, when I got in, it was a bit dead with maybe 20 people, all of whom were just sitting around in a few groups. This wasn't surprising since it was a Monday night with nothing too special going on and as I later found out it gets better later. I also saw signs for a $40 minimum on the bar tab, so I had to pass for the night.

  If you like your beverages without the alcohol, terrible music and bartenders that need a reality check this is the place for you. If this is what Whistler considers fun, I don't wanna see what boring is. Save your money and your time.

  I ended up leaving after a few minutes, figuring I'd come check it out again another night when I had more time and there was a bit more atmosphere. I'm used to things starting a bit earlier than 11 or later on a weekday when the club closes so early, but maybe that's just me.

  I had hoped to get a refund for the $5 entry fee, but apparently that's not allowed. I feel like this wasn't an unreasonable expectation, since it's not like I got to experience anything while there for the price I paid. I now just feel ripped off for that.
