The location is great, very convenient to the Blackcomb base lifts and the main Whistler village is just a 5 minute walk away. The room is very nice, large bathrooms and lots of windows. Great TV and stereo system and a very well stocked kitchen area. Across the street there's an amazing multiuse path that is easily accessible and runs for miles.

Only reason why they have 2 stars vs 1 is the proximity to the hill. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Worst of the worst. Extremely expensive for absolutely no reason. Plus you respectable hotel would never have the pool, gym, jacuzzi and spa UNDER CONSTRUCTION in a high season. Do not go there.

The room we had was equipt with a hot tub and was definitely worth it! However, half an hour after we used it and emptied it, the jets would come on randomly. It happened both time we used it (??). Finally, the bed mattress needs replacing. It wasn't flat as each sides were curved from extended usage of people's body weight.

Quality hotel to stay, nice front desk staff, ask any questions about Whistler, tourism suggestion and they will be happy to answer. Room has a hot tub which is surprising for the price. This is on the upper village but a quick five minute walk takes you to the main village. But upper village seems to be becoming famous now and has its own attractions such as shopping, gondola, etc.

First time in Whistler and stayed over the Chamois for the weekend. First, the hotel is somewhat out dated for the price we paid (there's old carpets on the walls in the hallways). There's also a bar on the first level which played music past midnight, resulting in a lack of sleep for the big day on the hill.

After a full day of ski the next day, we were burnt! After some well deserved après ski, we went for a nap but again the music from the bar on the main level kept us up.

Room air-condition might be an issue as it doesn't seem to reach the bed, but they give you a tower fan uncase if you feel too hot.

It is the best location, right at the base of Blackcomb. Fun during the day, especially on summer Sundays when the market is on. And nice and quiet during the night because the parties are in the village. The recently renovated suite we had was a one bedroom, but very conveniently had two bathrooms. The kitchen had everything one or two would need to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It even had non stick frying pans, a rare find in Whistler. Parking is not cheap at $20 for 24 hour period, but very convenient. There are also bike storage and ski storage rooms. If you're looking for a great place to stay you can't go wrong with this place, but keep in mind it's not a full service hotel if that's what you are looking for.
