  While on vacation in Whistler, our car wouldn't start on the morning we were heading for the ferry back to Victoria. We called a very helpful Payless towing guy (dont remember his name) and he tried 4 different places at Function Junction. All 4 of them said it would be at least a week before they could even look at it. The last call was to Barneys. They were able to diagnose and fix our vehicle in less than 24 hrs and send us on our way to the ferry. Exceptional service, reasonable price and full explanation of the details. If you're ever stuck with car trouble in Whistler call these guys first.

  I have had work done here twice. Both times the service I requested was not completed. As well at my second visit they replaced over $500 worth of parts without my permission. Go to SMD instead!

  Was just recently recommended by a friend to try Barneys as my new go to auto shop. And today the service was amazing, professional and on time. I have been to all of whistlers auto motive spots and i can certainly say I will be using these guys moving forward! Very happy customer!

  Went there for an out of province inspection, drove my car from Banff to Whistler , car was driving perfect, not a single thing was wrong got it inspected 4 months ago in Alberta as well, I dropped my car off and left and then the mecanic called me and told me my rear bearing was eas completly done , and I just drove 13 hours with the car and nothing was wrong with it finaly the guy estimated the job between 700-900$ with labor and parts because he was saying my bearing could be stuck in there really good, I decided to wait and only paid the 115$ inspection fees. Got my car back and could barely get to the gas station, wheel was making an awful sound that wasn't there before, finaly ended up getting fixed to another garage nearby for 300$ parts and labor, I'll definetely will never go there ever again.
