This place is SO BEAUTIFUL! Honestly the views of the mountains and rivers are spectacular, the mossy woods are gorgeous and the sand is the softest for walking bare foot. There are sites in the middle of the woods if you want a more quiet, private, secluded area (where we camped) or there are sites right on the beach if you like to be part of the action. The only thing to consider is there is no noise restriction and no limit to how many people you can have on one site so the potential for parties is there. Which is fantastic for one demographic and not-so-much for the other. If you're of the other, honestly don't let it deter you. It was %150 worth the $15 per person per night because the beauty there is top notch. Just camp in the woods and walk to the beach and you won't even hear the folks party at night.

As you may discover, you need to book online in order to reserve a campsite ahead of time. There were problems with my e-transfer to secure our spot and the booking agent (Ali) told me that he has "had enough". I tried sending them money twice and apparently that was enough to disregard my attempt at booking. They said the password to my e-transfer wasn't working, which I have no idea why because I told them the password twice. Things can happen with banks but that isn't the problem here and that is neither of our faults.

Extremely disappointed, when my boyfriend showed me pictures of this place I absolutely loved it so last Friday we went there but we were shocked. Everywhere around the campground the owner has his own stuff which he probably collected in last 20 years. There are NO camping tables and fireplaces also no ever dry toilet. Why should you pay $15/per person!?! We didn't stay there! Never ever again.

This campsite has no running water, and only ports potties, but this was exactly the get away me and my friends needed! We had tons of fun on the beach and the campsite area and time we got there with all the other campers had a very fun, care free, party dynamic. There are no quiet hours but this was our celebratory grad camping so this was the perfect adventure we had hoped for! The owner (and his dog) of the campsite was very nice and had no problems with either of them! Excited to come back here next year for a reunion.

A few moments after our phone call, thinking this isn't a nice way to treat customers or anybody for that matter, I sent an email saying I'm not at all interesting in booking at Squamish Valley anymore and would rather stay at a campground with employees who treat people with kindness and respect. I asked him to consider the next customer he speaks with as he was very very rude.

Please note: this isn't a review about my stay at Squamish Valley Campground but rather my experience trying to book a reservation. This is my first ever online review for anything. I'm not one to complain however I think people should know my experience:

It does what it claims, which is a campground near the river. It's bare-bones camping on private property. It's not a beautiful provincial/national campground, but it's what you'd except for $15 per person/night.

I decided to call, thinking I could give my credit card info over the phone to book (as I have in the past). He answers the phone and says he has spent too much time on my reservation, he has other things to do and there are others who are calling. Shocked by his tone, I said well I'm sorry you have spent more time than you planned however a friend of mine recommended this campsite and I just wanted to stay there on my vacation. I asked if I could book over the phone and he said no. I said maybe my partner could try from his online banking and the agent then hung up on me.

    - paved road leading into the campground entrance, the campground itself has dirt road, you can park right by your campsite
