  I would recommend this store for upper village and village bike rentals, because how could you go wrong? I would bring my bike here if it broke on the weekend when Chromag was closed. (I bought my bike from the "factory shop" and they are very nice too, but closed weekends. Also, they do not rent bikes, and only repair Chromags because they are the original shop.

  I've gone to Arbutus for two seasons now renting downhill bikes - they have superb staff and great customer service. With their new computer based rental process everything is so quick and easy which means less time waiting and more time riding! I'll definitely come back in the future when renting a bike, these guys are committed!

  I bought a WORCA "Lord of the Sauirrels" T-shirt ( a lot of my clothes burned) and they had a most of the sizes. If there is one next year, and you want it , this is where you should look for one. I heard about a week later a lot of shops sold out.

  The Arbutus folks are knowledgable, patient and thorough. I trust them with everything from coaching to keeping my bikes in tip top shape. Love this shop!

  Great bike rentals. Had a blast feeling comfortable and safe. My wife and I rented down hill bikes and protective gear. Very friendly staff provided bikes set up specifically for our height and weight and helped us get geared up at the best price we could find in the Village.

  One of 2.5 (one is hit or miss) "go to" bike stores in Whistler. Tracy is the one of the very nicest people I have met in Whistler, ever. A very kind person is worth a lot. She was very helpful when I was falling apart from a house fire that killed my pets.cannot thank her enough. I have not been out, or even up there a whole lot, but I owe her a BC Liquors card for sure. (Not that she excepts one, she was nice for free) .
