  Excellent food. Beautiful presentation. Wonderful staff! We happened to catch their 3 course set menu during the slow season for $25 CAD. Good value and great way to try a few different items.

  Best, biggest, creamiest cheese fondue we've ever had - with cute and unusual dipping options. On the pricier side, but nice restaurant for a special occasion. Great wines and warm drinks on offer, too.

  Thank you for the wonderful 42 birthday. I went to Basalt for a Aprés Birthday and had wonderful service and the food was delicious! Sat on the patio with over 15 friends and they were able to accommodate when I called in advance. Basalt has a great happy hour and a good selection of food for aprés. I would definitely recommend Basalt to friends who are visiting Whistler. Thank you for making my birthday so special.

  When this place opened it was The Go to Destination. The food was good and the prices exceptional. Since its grand opening kick off, some year or two later, I have to say that it has come down a little, the food. Don't hate me people of the earth for saying this. It just was. Is.

  Food was amazing, and the prices were what you would expect for that kind of quality. The charcuterie board was generous and the bread was delicious (you will run out of bread so you need to order more). They will charge for extra bread. Eggs Benny was really good and wasn't too salty.
